Kaitlyn’s Birthday

What a fun way to end the year by having a Grand daughter born on the 31st of December.  I played around with an old Stampin Up set called Perfect Party and also used my Cricut  Calligraphy Collection for the Happy Birthday.  I added some Stickles to give it the added sparkle and gave it to her.  She got a shopping cart and decided to use the card like she was going to buy it.  I loved it and I know she loved it as well.  I hope to get back into the routine of creating many more cards and 3 d projects.  I hope you find what you are looking for and I am grateful that I can find what I am looking for on the many wonderful blogs out there.  Have a great day!

Mojo Monday 111 and a Contest

Mojo Monday 111Mojo111Sketch

I was so excited to see there was another contest for Mojo Monday and decided I needed to do it.  You can never have enough baby cards and I just happen to have the materials ready for me.  I had the perfect paper and colored card stock in my stash and then when I looked I also had the baby buggy already cut, I just had to chalk around it and attach everything and then I added my newest find of Liquid Pearls.  I know they have been around for a long time because I had purchased some like ages ago but never used them until I found that you can tap the underneath part of the card and it makes it look like pearls and it happened to be the perfect color too boot.  Thanks for checking in on me now I need to go back to my Christmas cards.

Happy New Baby

I decided to use my Cricut to make a fun baby card. I am still trying to figure out how to make the pieces pop and not look so plain.  The card base I used was based on Dawn’s Spring Card because I love how it springs to life when you take it out of the envelope.  I am enjoying using my Cricut to add to my cards and the scrapbooks I have started for each of my grand babies, and I hope that I can continue getting inspired by so many friends like you.cards-002
